Literacy Increase

Goal: Ensure every student reads at grade level and has access to resources that foster literacy from early childhood through high school.
Approach: Emphasize support for reading initiatives in schools, libraries, and community centers, including early literacy programs, tutoring, and family literacy workshops. Highlight partnerships with local organizations to provide free or low-cost books and reading materials.
Impact: Focus on literacy as a foundational skill that opens doors to academic success and lifelong learning, ultimately helping students achieve better educational and career outcomes.

Transparency

Goal: Build trust between the school district, parents, and the community through open communication about policies, spending, and decision-making processes.
Approach: Propose regular updates on key initiatives, budgets, and school performance data. Host informational sessions where parents and community members can ask questions and receive clear answers from school administrators.
Impact: Increase community confidence in the school district by showing accountability, improving parent and community participation in district initiatives.
