I’m Yolanda, and I’m running for the school board because I believe every student deserves access to an education that not only prepares them academically but also nurtures them personally, guiding them toward a successful and fulfilling future.

Our schools face challenges, but with the right leadership, we can create a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment for every child. My priorities include increasing literacy, ensuring college and career readiness, fostering transparency and accountability, promoting effective parent and community engagement, and strengthening bullying prevention efforts. Each of these goals is designed to provide our students with the best opportunities to thrive, both in the classroom and beyond.
